This is why I cannot give a pass to those respondents who answered in the negative. The most likely explanation for anyone who is oblivious to the bigotry so openly on display in that forum is that it is second nature for him. Hello, ThreadKiller here. At the end of the day. Stromfront, et. al. are frustrated poor whites that cannot figure why they got the short end of the stick. They do not understand their environment, so to simplify it, they project blame onto whatever they can. If they could not do this they would have to admit failure on some level, and rather than embrace that failure to learn from it, they bury it in the sand. Few can embrace failure to learn from it, which why most traders fail. I used to scoff at the racialist, but then I realized they are trying to find their way in a complex world, with a limited toolset. Imagine being tone deaf in a room full of musicians, and then be told that the only way to make a living is play an instrument. Daddy is a drunk. Momma is a waitress. Kids=fucked. Does this excuse their behavior, no. Does this explain their behavior, absolutely.

Very good post, but I don't think it's complete. We need to acknowledge that there exist well-to-do racists and that their racism does not necessarily stem from their inability to make their way in the world. No, these specimens have a deep-rooted sense of inferiority for one reason or another (nature, nurture, whatever) and feel compelled to overcompensate by lording their "superiority" over identifiable others. Identifiability allows for easy labeling. And bigotry is all about labeling. Therefore, I think that bigotry finds its roots in inferiority, real or imagined. However, there is a self-fulfilling effect here. Someone who becomes a bigot out of an imagined sense of inferiority actually becomes an inferior person.
Anti-semitism is a mark of a crude brain. The probelm is Joe the Plumbers are not aware of their (monumental) intellectual inferiority and as such look at certain complex events and try interpret them in a primitive way. If joe the plumber sees a harvard educated lawyer (who happens to be jewish) driving a maybach his (joe's) feeling will be that of scorn. Throughout their history, jews were denied positions of prestige and power. They adapted by channeling their energy into mercantile interests (being peddlers among other things) and forming a closer sense of community (if you are going to be singled out you might as well band together with like individuals). Now many years later, at a time when nobility does not exist and your last name essentially means nothing, the ability to make a decent living trumps all others. As a general policy, jews don't tell their children to become carpenters (neither will I, even though I am not jewish), instead they channel their efforts into a limited field of lucrative careers. Over generations, this pays big dividends. Even our non jewish former president W got to be president even while being a total degenerate(his father's pursuits and the name of universities he attended helped). Modern day blacks are screwed by long term historical behavior they could not control. White slave owners did not care about slave marriages and divided families as they(slaveowners) desired. They also (obviously) denied slaves education. You take this behavior over many generations and even when slavery ended, you have considerable "inertia". When you are born into a single family your chances of success in life drop like a rock. It is not rocket science. Now some confederate knuckleheads think a black is inherently inferior to a white.
I presume you mean the likes of Dr. Duke. Some are more articulate than others, as well as developing a good work ethic. This leads them to power over their base. Rush also comes to mind here. They don't want to admit that they didn't try hard enough or long enough. So, the niggers are taking over, and whitey keeps us down. If they knew how they sounded to the educated, they would not say these things, but they don't know any educated people, so they keep saying this stuff. Know this though, the Dukes and the Sharptons of the world ARE educated, but they know who butters their bread. I would throw Alex Jones in there as well for the conspiracy nuts.
