That's really what it comes down to, but it's not the whole story. After all, other races have been affected by the dwindling family structure in America and their communities aren't in shambles. You've got to combine the breakdown of the family with the doctrine of victimization and the complete lack of personal accountability that many blacks are taught. Combine those who and you end up with a group who takes on a mostly feminine thinking process due to their being no man in the home, AND they've been led to believe that their behavior is justified because of slavery and some fictitious system in place to keep them down. No other group has been indoctrinated in that way, even though liberals are going around trying to get other groups riled up.
I blame homo erectus for migrating out of Africa in the first place. A whole bunch of problems could have been avoided. When in Rome...
Not only did they migrate out, but we transported them out to the USA. In times gone past, there was nothing wrong with shipping em out to the USA. But we are now paying a heavy price in terms of crime conducted by homo erectus. There does exist one country where I believe slave descendents will be made welcome: Liberia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberia Liberia seems a good home for them too. One in 3 Liberian women are in polygamous marriages.
Some very good points here. I do pity the slave descendents but, at the same time, am wary of the huge crime which emanates from them.
The first part of your post is correct. The second part refers to a tragedy that is due in part to the inability of many people, you included, to not be able to see the generational consequence of a less-than-virtuous circle. Chaos theory stems from the premise that minor differences in initial conditions can have broad and sweeping implications over time, especially over a long period of time. Consider the initial conditions. Your problem is that you cannot see beyond your own limited frame of reference. Not that we should excuse inexcusable behavior. But it needs to be understood and properly addressed to be corrected. You guys just keep throwing fire at the flames and expect a different outcome. There are so many things that you take and have taken for granted in your lives that perhaps the people at whom you point your finger never even had a chance at having. (Let's not look at the relatively small number of "success stories" of people who have risen above their dire circumstances because they drown out the vast majority of those who did not; let's look at the rule rather than its notable exceptions.) And small differences compound over time. They build on themselves. Can you now consider what might cause meaningful and lasting change?
Excellent point. I agree fully. The slave descendents blacken the name of their slave ancestors through their behavior.
I'm not disagreeing at all with the notion that America has a black crime problem. The point I'm making is that a lot of blacks are taught from jump, through the doctrine of victimization, to be immoral and unaccountable. As I've told many others on here, I used to be that way also. I used to blame white people for all of my woes and felt that I was justified in any dirt that I committed simply because I could fall back on the slavery excuse.
OK, this is a good post. I commend you, a black man, for coming here to engage in our conversation on the dire state of your people. You have not only contributed, but you have done so in a polite manner. You are a credit to your ancestors. The thing is that the richest folks in the USA are not even whites. Looking at wiki, we have this list by average family income... your people rank at 136, but a group of other Africans rank at position 2!! On the basis of the sentiment expressed here, I conclude that we should have sent the freed slaves back home to Africa. Violent crime would be massively reduced in the USA and the slaves would have had time to reconnect with their idiol worship, bush hunting etc. For good measure, had we sent them home, we would not be cursed with Barack Obama, a Muslim who has destroyed the USA and given Iran the go ahead to proceed with nukes.
