    At this point there are endless posts on the subject regarding masks.... go read the previous posts on the subject. All with mainstream studies showing the impact of masks in actual detailed data-driven studies of the impact across the population. Including the impact of masking in Arizona and other states.

    I kinda figured you wouldn't show anything.

    Oh, and your Arizona claim (long ago) was unquestionably refuted several times on this very forum.

    You're a fraud, GWB. Every post proves it more and more.

    The Arizona study was never refuted. Your claim is laughable.

    Amid rise in cases, CDC study shows masks cut Arizona COVID-19 cases by 75%

    It was easy to completely destroy this horseshit last time, and I'll just take a moment to do it again. Please note the arrow on the chart noting when your article claimed "mask victory".

    Can you imagine how bad the peak would have looked without a mask policy. It would have looked like Florida.

    LOL!

    That's your answer?

    "How bad it could have been" isn't proof of anything other than your complete and total hypothetical.

    You have no proof of anything.

    Why don't we compare the peak of cases, hospitalizations, and deaths between Arizona and Florida for this particular wave. Do this and get back to us.

    Ah, so you got your ass stomped on your "show me an example" and now you're trying to compare Florida to Arizona? Is that your next gambit?

    Ok, lets do that, shall we?

    Florida population: 21.48M source - Google.
    Arizona population: 7.279M source - Google.

    Arizona height of cases this last wave: 3200 per day source - Worldometers
    Florida height of cases this last wave: 26,500 per day source - Worldometers

    So it would appear that Florida is doing worse on a case per 1M pop level than Arizona. So, if your intent was to contrast a stark difference between two states where one had mask mandates and one did not that might work. Except for one small problem: Arizona doesn't have a statewide mask mandate.

    Governor Ducey Statement On Updated CDC Guidance
    News Release

    July 27, 2021
    PHOENIX — Governor Doug Ducey today released the following statement in response to the updated guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

    "Arizona does not allow mask mandates, vaccine mandates, vaccine passports or discrimination in schools based on who is or isn’t vaccinated. We’ve passed all of this into law, and it will not change.

    You wanna try again, GWB? You're 0 for...how many now?

    Let's do some math --

    Arizona
    3200 / 7.279M == a 0.041% daily cases peak divided by population

    Florida
    26,500 / 21.48M == a 0.123% daily cases peak divided by population.

    So the peak daily case rate in Florida is 3 times that in Arizona. 0.041% / 0.123%

    Obviously a sign that the mask mitigation in Arizona worked during this Covid wave. And also a stark difference.

    But there was no mask mandate in Arizona, so how could masks have made a difference?
