Religion is a hypothesis.

  1. One mans supporting evidence is another mans conjecture.:p T/A would be a prime example.

  2. Do you realize that the broad and protean concept of "God" precludes any definitive definition of God or proof for existence?

You can't even define "God", but you defend it?!? :D

  3. have you ever heard of 'reason', logic and rules of evidence?

you, and many that "think" (note the quotations) like you have the mind set of the "Dark Ages" :D

  4. A God does not need my defending. What I defend is the right to believe in a God, or not.

Exactly. It takes no brainpower . It's a thoughtless braindead statement you've made.

Non belief in god is not - a belief.
    It's simply... non belief.

Obviously it takes an unthinking half conscious theist to mindlessly extrapolate non belief into meaning belief.

    • Conversation with a theist:

      Theist:
I have a question, do you believe in God?
      Answer:
      No.
      Theist:
Ahh so you believe God does not exist
      Answer:
I have no belief so there is nothing to believe . Simple really
      Theist:
Ahh so you are agnostic because you don’t believe God couldn’t exist
      Answer:
No. I don’t have ANY belief . An agnostic believes they cannot have true knowledge about God.
      Theist:
Ahh so you believe there is no God
      Answer:
      No, I have NO belief.
      Theist:
Ahh so you believe there is no deity
      Answer:
No, hello, NO belief ...at all
      Theist:
Ahh so you are an atheist that has no belief in God so you must believe God does not exist
      Answer:
No, there is NO belief to believe anything about God or any deity with..
      Theist:
Ahh so you have no belief so you believe God could exist

      ughh
At this point it’s hard not to think there is at least one theist that might be better off if they were put down.

  7. Attacking people for their religious belief systems, the atheist concept of freedom of religion and from religious persecution in America...

...even going so far as to suggest they are "put down" (eueuphemism for killing someone) because of their belief in God?

Can you say fascist thinking by the atheists?

  8. i dont disagree with this statement. for the most part everyone is free to believe what they want.
you do not have the right to come on a public board and claim "my god exists" unchallenged. more knowledgeable people have the right to question your claims and provide a counter argument.
i have always said that if bible thumpers kept their superstitious beliefs in their homes and churches people like me would get bored and go away. we dont go around thinking up ways to be anti god. we are usually just reacting to some nonsense we have read or heard.

  10. humorous, when people start attacking even the accepted works as wrong, such as dictionaries. I have this person on ignore, but saw it in your response.

Next, the earth will not really be round, it is just a theory foisted on the world by geologists :D
