RRY16 said Texas and batshit crazy. Clearly he is referring to me. RRY16 is mad because his overpriced mobile home listing is not selling. Hey RRY16, all you need to do is cruise the Red Light district for a couple of hours and you will find your buyer. You’re welcome.
I wasn’t referring to you, obviously you’re a bit sensitive since you haven’t found a job. Journaling, posting and plagiarizing isn’t a job but atleast LinkedIn and ET will let you call yourself a trader.
Amazon To Pay $0 In Federal Taxes In 2019: Report The tech giant reportedly used various tax breaks and credits to claim a $129 million rebate on $11 billion in profits last year. Amazon almost doubled its profits from $5.6 billion in 2017 to $11.2 billion in 2018, but the company isn’t expected to pay a cent in federal taxes this year, according to a new report. The Institute on Taxation and Economic policy released its findings Wednesday after examining the company’s corporate filings. Amazon reported a $129 million federal income tax rebate for 2018, equaling a tax rate of negative 1 percent. (The federal corporate income tax rate is 21 percent.) “The fine print of Amazon’s income tax disclosure shows that this achievement is partly due to various unspecified ‘tax credits’ as well as a tax break for executive stock options,” the report stated. This would be the second year in a row that the company has avoided paying federal taxes, despite being valued at a whopping $1 trillion.
I figured it up and NYC will lose about $112,500,000 a year in payroll taxes alone. NYC has 5 tax rates from 2.907 to 3.876. They were going to hire 25,000 at an average salary of $150,000. So... 25,000 x $150,000= $3,750,000,000 x .03% = $112,500,000 The state will lose even more with rates of about 4% to 8%.
So much for Cuomo's "New York is Open for Business" slogan. Might want to change that to: "New York. Visit for a Few Days Before Deciding to Relocate to Tax-Free Florida Instead"
Well lots of those jobs were also support staff and lower level so not all were $150k jobs. But let's not forget the jobs created to build the site and surrounding areas. The jobs created from business that will pop up to support the influx of so many people in the area. Not to mention ancillary jobs created 2 to 3 steps away as other businesses get pulled in.
$150,000 was the published average. NYC and NY state just lost a combined $27B in revenue over the next 10 years. Just imagine the cluster fuck going on in pending real estate deals.
