I was one of the founders of plagiarism.org and I remember trying to get the Ivy League schools to sign up to our main product (turnitin.com) and all the people we met claimed the Ivy League believes in the integrity of their students and that none of their students would ever commit plagiarism. Even at the time it was comical. Oh yeah even UC Berkeley claimed there was no cheating going on at Cal.
