What do you do when you have positions and the trading platforms are down.. I remember Tradovate was down for hours in early March.
This was a Rithmic outage that affected NinjaTrader and possibly other platforms connecting through their Chicago gateways.
You call broker and they can close positions or do what ever you need. Tech is not immune to failures.
If you have an account with another broker you can sell thru them then flatten both accounts afterwards. Unless you are talking about a funded account then tough luck but that account will be in violation of the rule and closed.
