The whole thing was bad nightmare (it hasn't fully hit me yet as to how someone could make such a horrendous decision). I'm glad it's all over.
I had the impression as soon as the new version was running that the foundation was not laid correctly, many key features were missing and it seemed the web site builder was attempting to experiment on the run. I hope you haven't paid them $ for this fiasco. I liked many of the new ideas/features of the new build, just a shame that it had major flaws which prevented Baron from seeing this come to fruition. Hopefully this won't prevent another attempt.
The site looked the like work of some shoddy indian outfit that baron might of found on rent a coder, "We do all codes, with much quickness, and plenty cheapness." And baron fell for it
"A wise man changes his mind, a fool never" Glad you've reverted Baron. Content is everything and although I could just about tolerate the new format the big issue for me was losing all the historical threads. Perhaps ET could have a little more moderation on occasion but avatars, larger font and dumbing down don't really do it for me. No need to compete with rival sites on this front. ET is unique and has gravitas! I occasionally look at BMT but it is for the excellent webinars they offer and NOT for the fancy font, 100+ smiley faces and warm and cosy feeling.
