Robert, thank you for the mention.

@Maverick2608 - There are no compliance issues with this. Are you trading futures, equities, or options?

  2. Thank you Ryan.

    I am trading equities.

I do not see a pricing plan for equities: https://www.quantvps.com/pricing

My orders are first routed to IBKR servers (primarily in Connecticut or New Jersey), and IBKR then routes them to exchanges. Thus, minimizing latency to IBKR (not the exchanges) is what I can control. I assume if there is any advantage in terms of latency, what matters is how close your server is to IBKR's server - not how close your server is to the exchanges?

  3. We provide servers with 1 millisecond latency to Interactive Brokers for equity trading. You are correct that the closeness of the server to the broker is what matters and you want that latency to be as low as possible.

The IBKR endpoint is ndc1.ibllc.com, please see attached screenshot showing our 1ms latency from our East Coast servers to IBKR. For IBKR, the VPS we provide you with are Ryzen 7950x, so not only is it ultra low latency to IBKR but also the speed and performance of the VPS is the best at 4.5ghz base and turbo 5.7ghz. Link to benchmark for reference: https://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?id=5031&cpu=AMD+Ryzen+9+7950X

So for everyone interested in ultra low latency for Interactive Brokers trading and want the most powerful Ryzen 7950x servers, send an email to support@ninjamobiletrader.com referencing this post and we'll provide you with additional monthly discounts as well. 4. What precisely does that mean? Do you translate requests sent to your API to IB's API, or are you talking about using IB front ends for Lightspeed trading accounts?

The Lightspeed Connect API is built by Connect Trade and can access trading for IBKR accounts for equities, options, and futures. Lightspeed would be the broker on the account, but you would continue to custody at IBKR. We offer the same service for our Wedbush customers but without futures. My email is below if you need to learn more.

  6. Stupid question: What might be a potential benefit of having a custody account at IBKR when trading is on Lightspeed (if I understand it correctly that "custody" refers to where the securities are held and cleared), over just opening an account at Lightspeed or transferring it to Lightspeed?

We provide this API with both clearing brokers. IBKR wants Lightspeed to help these API customers. We can provide a level of customer support they are not staffed for. They still get the assets and executions through their pipes. You’re not trading "on Lightspeed", you are a IBKR customer with Lightspeed as your broker. If you choose to use the API with our clearing firm, Wedbush Securities, the pricing, risk setting are different. I'm not sure how else to answer your question.

  9. Thank you. Did you notify IBKR in advance about using a US IP address, or did you just go ahead?

Nope. What makes you think that it matters?
