You can also get corporate and fibre connections that are way faster than that. The point was to compare broadband home packages, as if you move to a rural area what would be your standard connection.

If that is true, given it's from the Guardian so shouldn't be fake news, I am very negatively surprised. I never find it annoying downloading movies and my annoy threshold is about 3-5 mins.
