Putin thinks that sanctions are the same thing as war. Sounds like he is saying that sanctions are enough reason to nuke the West.... and the EU & NATO countries better stop. It's long overdue to the West to have a backbone & call Putin's bluff and tell him enough of his saber rattling and bullshiat. If the West is going to back down & refuse to take military action to stop a bully -- then Putin is just going to repeat this pattern of behavior in the future. At this point it is just a question of it we step up to regional defensive military conflict now or two years from now.

Putin says Western sanctions are akin to declaration of war

  2. This confirms sanctions are hurting Putin. If he is whining now, he will be positively balling when US and Europe gain energy independence.

  4. Damn it. Wish we had some sort of deterrence for this situation. I know, lets infiltrate Russia using the likes of Maxine Waters, Patty Murray, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, and the whole cast of CNN. That should bring the Russians to their knees in short order. If that doesn't work, maybe an accident involving a small meteorite and Putin will happen.

  7. Just like 1933, the Germans chose a "leader" backed by the capitalist, and now Ukraine chose another "leader" backed by the capitalist...the moral of the story is that the capitalist will have their money plus interest... whatever the ending might be...in 1933 the gold recall by that capitalist to finance the German re-armament...funny right? the irony...American's gold financed the rise of NSADP...In America fools seem to think they know something...Is it right to give rights to a people that don't know anything? I guess it it's right if the price is right...(funny Ashkenazi made a nazi from America..it would make for a nice movie)

some times owning the gold is not the solution, when things go wrong they always blame the owner, not the maker...are you really going to trust or listen to a guy sitting on gold?

Obama better have my money...(sex with Michelle is getting old)

The moral here is that you should assume all Republicans are Russian spies:

Two Republican senators are facing criticism after tweeting photos of a video call with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy even though participating lawmakers were told to not share pictures on social media while it was in progress.

Sens. Marco Rubio of Florida and Steve Daines of Montana posted pictures of Zelenskyy on their Twitter accounts during the Zoom meeting Saturday morning, writing that they were on a call with him.

Democratic Reps. Dean Phillips of Minnesota and Jason Crow of Colorado criticized the senators on Twitter.

Phillips noted that the “Ukrainian ambassador very intentionally asked each of us on the Zoom to NOT share anything on social media during the meeting to protect the security of President Zelenskyy.”

“Appalling and reckless ignorance by two U.S. Senators,” Phillips wrote.

“The lack of discipline in Congress is truly astounding,” Crow wrote. “If an embattled wartime leader asks you to keep quiet about a meeting, you better keep quiet about the meeting. I’m not saying a damn thing. Lives are at stake.”

From the Russian Central Bank announcement:

All Visa and Mastercard issued by Russian banks will work inside Russia until expiration date.

All foreign operations for such cards are not available. That includes internet stores as well as using the cards in person outside of the country.

When Russians go abroad, it is recommended that they take foreign currency cash or the "Mir" card that is accepted in: Turkey, Vietnam, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, South Ossetia and Abkhazia (ROTFLMAO at the list of countries for that card).
