It's likely that Chinese mercenaries are fighting for Russia. The number of 150 is probably about correct. Russia has recruited mercenaries from all over the world to fight in Ukraine. China has over a billion person population so it's not surprising that 150 Chinese landed up as mercenaries in Ukraine. I expect that China in no way supports this mercenary activity of their citizens and IMO may arrest these individuals if they ever show up again in China.
They may be support for drones and such, the orks would be very short on skilled men with trying to largely draw the dregs from outlying regions, to reduce their exposure to independence movements. Kill the young men off. But likely China has them there gaining practical experience in actual warfare conditions.

It would be and is a big mistake on Vlad's part to think that Trump will not be checking back to deal with the fact that Putin is the fly in the ointment on negotiations now. YUGE mistake. As I have said at least ten times, I concede that Trump is in the tank for almost all of what Putin wants, but DO NOT humiliate Trump by making him look like a dufus by not bringing an immediate end to the war as promised. That is the one rule of the road that Putin cannot violate without feeling Trump's wrath.
