The problem with President Trump is he has been wishy washy, changing positions in midstream. When Zelensky visited the White House and was admonished by President Trump, that was the right thing and he said, you do not have the cards to Zelensky. The trouble, if he wanted peace in Ukraine, pressure should have been placed on the warmongers Merz, Starmer, Macron to end arm shipments to Ukraine or else, the US will withdraw from NATO and to make sure they get the message, start sending US troops on the Polish border backstopping NATO forces back to the US. Had President Trump done that, Ukraine would have ended their BS negotiating stance of demanding Russia withdraw from all occupied territories including, Crimea without offering Russia anything in turn. No neutrality or withdrawal of NATO membership and all Zelensky does is asks for tens of billions of dollars plus lots of weapons from NATO. Now, Zelensky, like a spoiled brat has to do nothing. Even he is treated like a great leader by President Trump and he has listened to warmongers in Congress like Lindsay Graham and Mitch McConnell. If the goal is peace, escalating the Ukraine war against Russia will force Russia to intensify its attacks and finish off the Ukraine army as there is no other choice now. This war will be ended by Russia who will impose terms on the Ukraine army when the war ends. No more negotiation with Ukraine.
