How can you be opposed to that? I would have appointed ten for various key areas and required them to report to line agencies but also to an independent commission overseeing Ukraine financials. The Europeans should require that as well since Ukraine's long history of corruption is well known and has been an obstacle to EU consideration so they are supposed to be getting serious about looking at that as part of looking at their application for membership. Having said that. I imagine that before long fact checkers of some sort will come along and point out that this girls outrageous salary is actually in Ukrainian hryvia's, their local currency. If so, that would make her salary in the range of 2,100 usd per month. I don't know. We shall see.
