But, it became obvious when the the television networks, the magazines and the newspapers were bought up by conglomerates and their major shareholders.
The analogy would be if we had lost the Cold War and The Soviets had expanded the Warsaw Pact to include Mexico, Cuba and all of Latin America. Then they orchestrated a coup in Canada to put their thugs in power.

I've been wondering about the south china sea dispute. What if we just stayed out and let Vietnam, Phillipines and Japan deal with their territorial disputes with China? And what about North Korea? What if we just withdrew from South Korea and let China deal with both of them? Its on their border. Nobody made us the international police. I think we should beef up our military but keep it a bit closer to home.
