Schwab options messed up

Mystery solved. Apparently their equity options data is delayed. Nice....

They probably want a subscription for live quotes. I have to look it up...

 

Spy rallied 14 points and the 1 week 527 put rallied as well??

Really?????

 

Yeah I was getting excited for the "infinite money glitch" but just delayed quotes.

Options are known for bad quotes + bad data;
1] SCHW[ +IBKR ]overall have worked well.
3]But I noticed on SPXL,[leveraged like options ] quotes maybe some 3x as bad-worse than SPY-LOL.
And IBKR volume on thier charts was consistanly off by a lot intraday.
And @ market turns intraday maybe more off errors by an unusual amount.

Problem solved. I haven't completely set up the new account and that was causing the delayed data. After some electronic signatures, data is all good and live... And position is up 45 cents.

 

So you're not shopping for a better broker?

 

They should be more explicit with delayed data.
On TradingView there is a massive D at the top of the chart if it is delayed.
IBKR shows a banner on top as well when data is delayed.

You are confused because they are not giving you the right tools.

The irony is not lost how ppl fail to prepare and immediately blame the broker.
