and look how much that costs us! And that is just one simple law that anybody can understand and all agree we should just do out of compassion without even being legally bound to do so. I have a friend, works as a cook, no assets no insurance, got bit by a spider, has had over 30 operations, see's a specialist regularly, bill is over 300k, nobody expects him to ever pay. Someday a lawyer will make $500.
They didn't state it that way. They had lifetime benefit caps, year to year policies to cancel you if you got to expensive to cover etc.
So how do people get healthcare without government intervention? You really expect a free market profit driven system to do it?
How do people get educated without government help? How do they ever buy a house without government help? How do they eat without government help? How does a CEO make 30 million dollars without some kind of government intervention on his behalf? How does a drug dealer make 30 million dollars without government intervention? How did health insurance get so expensive without government intervention? I don't know, that's just the way it always was when this young crowd today was born. They don't even remember a world before government. There otta be law.
No one is denied healthcare in this country. The whole Ali-Bamy Care fiasco was built on a pack of lies.
Liberals think they can make life "fair" for everyone by equality of outcomes. Get over yourselves--Life is not fair.
The government first crowd always asks what can government do? A better question is how did healthcare get so expensive you need government assistance just to afford it anymore? Why is it so hard to even find a doctor to treat you if you don't have insurance? What rules and regulations could the government eliminate to make healthcare more affordable?
