since we know that all trading courses are bullshit, what would you actually look for in one?

I only mentioned bots because you follow a room with bots that make you money.

and I do deaddog but again bots do not teach; bots do not think or get emotional but bots are always there, never get sick and will not drop dead or get hit by a bus (LOL)>

As a trader who has successfully developed and sold courses for 20 years I will say:

    • Authenticity is everything. My courses are based on lessons learned from thousands of real money trades. Most educators are bs and don't even trade live. I regularly show PnL screencap proof of recent trades.
    • Traders should carefully consider if they are a good fit for a specific educators style by checking free content before buying courses.
    • Give preference to educators with lots of trader video testimonials like I show

    Someone taught the bot.

That's my point. Trading can be taught but human emotions get in the way of trading success.

    back to the original thread:

Reason #1 why futures trader fail. Consider this:
•A 100 students take a basic math course and 95% fail the final exam: who do we blame? The teacher!
•A 100 students take a futures trading course and 95% fail at trading – who do we blame? The student trader! Really?
•Be advised the infinite vast majority of “training and teaching” courses are garbage and those that teach are useless and unskilled.
•Such courses ooze redundant information and unsubstantiated strategies but little knowledge or wisdom; otherwise why would so many fail?
    •Those that can’t do, teach!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reason #2 why futures trader fail. Consider this:
•100 athletes try out for the Olympic Archery Team, 95% fail to make the team – who do we blame? No one!
•Olympic Archery requires true talent and by definition true talent is rare; few will have it. We expect 95% fail.
•Futures trading likewise requires true talent and by definition true talent is rare; few will have it. We expect 95% failure.

Reason #3 why futures trader fail. Consider this:
•100 students send in writing essays for the National Essay Contest, 95% fail to have their essay selected – who do we blame? The vast competition!
•Futures trading is highly competitive – each day we are trading against tens of thousands of other futures traders
•This vast competition is invisible and yet intense.
•Even worse, futures trading is a zero sum game – for someone to win, someone has to loose.

No, for the same reason Amazon does not offer mbgs for movies, it's digital copyable content.

Many of my courses have video previews, and importantly, they are inexpensive.... some at just $97. I have lots of repeat customers, because they trust me and find my courses useful.

    Fair enough.

But I buy movies for entertainment not education.

You should consider a MBG for your courses. Might increase sales. How many failed traders have the discipline to follow the course material exactly? Most wouldn't want to do the work involved in documenting the trades and why they failed.
