Thats nothing. I had very minor surgery for skin cancer and the crooked DR charged patients at a rate of just under $11,000 an hour.

Yes I had insurance but that $11,000 had to come from someone...I guess it was from all the rich traders on ET.

My DR would like to thank you all for paying him nearly $100,000 a day to perform a very easy and minor surgery.

  7. I'm 'sick' of the american rhetoric. Their system is failing. Canada's is just fine and on another thread I posted stats showing that Canada's mortality rate is even better than in the USA.

    Health insurance squeezes U.S. workers
Old and young have medical coverage, while America's workers feel the premium squeeze
    Ricardo Alonso-Zaldivar, Associated Press Writer
    Tuesday March 24, 2009, 6:14 am EDT
Buzz up! Print WASHINGTON (AP) -- Cindy Ramer works full-time nursing the mentally disabled, making sure their medical needs are met.

But the 58-year-old widow hasn't had a doctor's checkup in more than three years, ever since the nursing home where she works decided it could no longer afford to offer medical insurance to its employees.

"I don't think it's fair that I'm caring for people and helping them with their health care, and I don't have adequate, affordable health care of my own," said Ramer, of Denver, Iowa.

American workers -- whose taxes pay for massive government health programs -- are getting squeezed like no other group by private health insurance premiums that are rising much faster than their wages.

  9. The failures of the American system are leading us to some type of govt. funded system. In reality, the American system is about 50%ffunded by govt already when you add up medicare, medicaid, and local and state govts.

    from a Rasmussen survey today:

    "
Sixty-three percent (63%) of U.S. voters agree with President Obama that “we must make it a priority to give every single American quality affordable health care.”

Everyone hates Congress but always votes for their Congressman.

It is the same with DRs. They are corrupt yet people continue to support them.

Health care is not too expensive, it is corrupt.

Why do people continue to accept the fact that most DRs charge thousands of dollars per hour, yet rarely cure anyone of anything?
