Wow.... what a video. I'm only 10 minutes in, but amazing. Its one thing when anonymous ET members discuss this stuff online, but its another when you see this being said by the people with these credentials. Can't believe this video has so few views.

Seems to be this kind of DOOM porn on this site for 6 years now, like the goal of the US system is destroy the country, when nobody is working towards that goal. Could just be traders talking up their longer term trades though.

I always feel when the news is extremely nagative thats the time to buy. Being a contrarian is what pays in trading and investing. This sell off is starting to feel a little herd like.

Herd like? You mean like the herd like mentality that was BTFD for 7 years of double digit gains?

That means everyone is starting to jump on the short bandwagon including retail which is a clear signal this is herd behavior. I'm not say I would blindly go long but what I am saying is maybe its time to start looking for some longs.

  10. Why is a market heading lower a bad thing for the supposed traders here. Just short the futures, go long VX/VIX and ride the wave of profits. Who cares if it goes up or down just get on the right side of it at some point. Anyone retiring in the next 5 to 10 years should have a small % only of their retirement in stock market. If they do then they deserve to lose or sue their RIA.
