Oct 17, 2015 So "doom" is porn on this site for 6 years? I can't define DOOM but I know it when I see it... further defined by each individual for himself. If you prefer not to read the big paragraph that follows (the undeniable heavies of contributors to doom included), then I urge you to read the last paragraph, starting with "We are daily involved..," an otherwise culmination of everything below and view the link below it, U.S. government financial status oriented Masked by the seductiveness of technology since the late 1980's making productivity and communications a giant leap forward, the sleeping giant of America is its citizens who are too young to know an earlier benchmark identifying the nation with its greatness, and it's older Americans who acclimate themselves to the ever evolving, diminished quality of life as "new normals." That diminishment comes in the form of culture (dangerously engaged in its preference to be entertained rather than to be informed of significant current and economic events in any meaningful depth); its public education ranking within developed countries in the 20's, almost in the 30's in math and science; its government being feckless with Congress and elected by willfully under informed voters and additionally, mostly being directed by big money; and an elected presidency of extreme incompetence and indifference and seemingly driven by idealism and when appropriate for a politician seemingly having a strong need to be popular rather than be correct; and the majority of its citizens combined in either not being informed of the danger or not caring to be informed of the danger of the nation's indebtedness having been on a logarithmic curve upward for some time. Any ONE of these being broken....culture, education, government, indebtedness beyond recovery....dooms all size of empires, monarchies, and republics to anywhere on the spectrum from serious slide in quality of life to doom. Cumulatively, with all of these in place, it is a "trifecta plus" pointing to certainty of being on that unpleasant scale with the starting point being ever-diminishing quality of life and the scale getting worse from there. Being on a scale with the starting point being "ever-diminishing quality of life" is doom for some with respect to thinking about themselves and/or their posterity. But this group is the lucky one ! Everything else on the scale is much worse in terms of degree of deterioration and rapidity with which it happens. I would encourage you to look at the video on page 3 which also is the link below, and make a fresh judgment for yourself of the nation's status and its path to doom or not as to however you personally want to understand doom. These are eminent individuals in discussion with no ax to grind. They are intelligent, clear eyed, and not afflicted with the diseases I cited above. And they are addressing only ONE component of the trifecta plus of elements of doom...the solvency of America. We are daily involved with the nuts and bolts in our lives. Our careful observation and assessment now in America may be the most most strategically important ones in our personal lives and our familys.' We appreciate the significance of leverage. Applying leverage as a tiny fraction of time in our lives to observe and to assess our nation's status and prospects can allow for significantly big gains in altering for the better the destiny of our lives in response. Traders are long term ineffectual when they don't sufficiently know what they are doing/involved with. If you believe that, apply it to nothing less than your life in America. Make sure you know very well this behemoth that you are doing/involved with. Where you rate it on the above cited scale-- described in paragraphs above with degrees of diminished quality of life to doom-- will make you better informed for your state of necessary preparedness and make for a better personal destiny, markedly more so than being willfully under informed.
