This is your thread, mate, and here's the first sentence:
"Due to steep inflation since 1965 (when the average ticket cost $1.01)"

800% ticket inflation and 850% wage inflation.

O inflation, where is they sting?

I am talking big figures and inflation is not exactly precisely measured.
so when your brought up 1964 here... I looked it up as 1964.

it make little difference which year you use... we still have had massive inflation.

your sting comment is really a gross comment for myraid reasons...
but I will start with the obvious... tell that to people who saved their whole lives for retirement.

tell that to all the retirees barely surviving because of inflation.
since you have admitted you are a commie at heart...
i thought you said you were on the side of the workers and not the crony elite...

why are you supporting inflation by the Federal Reserve?
oh commie why are you supporting the elites and not the workers?

If they saved their whole lives then they were working their whole lives, at rising wages, and, at least for movies, their savings buy more movies tickets today than they did in 1965.

wow is that over the top.
remember the workers comrade, the party elite should have been serving them... not the other way around. .

And yet Ricter thinks raising the minimum wage will solve the problem of wealth disparity. My God, man, get a clue!

I saw that someone had posted the Oxfam report on wealth inequality the other day, but i didn't really look closely at it. Saw an article on it this morning that i found interesting.

Turns out that when it talked about the 1%, it was talking about global population.
If you have net assets of $68,000, you're in the top 10% of the wealthy of the world.

To be in the top 1%, you need $760,000 of net assets. I think this comprises a whole lot more people than what we're used to thinking about when we think of the 1%.

The report was apparently an effort to nudge policy toward global wealth redistribution. I'm sure they all believe in global warming, too, since that's the vehicle most of them will try to use to accomplish their money grab.

Just thought you'd like to know that many of you are the evil rich b*stards that they want to get the money from to send to who knows what part of the world.
