Well, if you really don't like a subset of humanity you should not associate with them in this thread !! I'd like you to exercise your discretion and stop posting here, otherwise you are just another monkey in a cage throwing shit at the crowd
Spanish - quick question for you. You correctly state that the steady eddies who trusted the system got, and continue to get, fleeced. I would just ask, what happens if they follow your advise and realise this, and then everyone becomes a fleecer? Won't there be no system left to fleece? For example what if your SB firm takes all your cash in your account. What if the markets close down because no one sticks to contractual obligations. What if no one obeys the laws and the police and courts can't handle the workload - or quit working for sucker wages at 90% tax rates. What happens if everyone thinks like you and turns society into something like Somalia?
Cutten, although a great set of questions it won't even get through the first layer of his skin. Eventually maslow catches up...and I like spanish ....
Having no integrity and cheating banks out of money is a subset of humanity now? Let's hope it is a very small subset of humanity.
ALoha mate, if that happend id have to adapt to the new setup, and the continue doing what i do and looking for opportunties in that of how to make money. Im not trying to 'encourage' everyone to screw over the system, or start a movement against it or anything like that! Lol If that did happen it would be bad for me as id then have to change and adapt wich would require effort but ive gotten very very lazy since trading became my job. lol Since all ive done everyday for a year is just sit on my sofa staring at a chart n clicking a button a few times per day. This thread was asking about what happens if you dont pay back CCs and how to best do it witout any badness happening to you..., and so i just answered the guys question. But then all the ''moral-muffers'' came her and started whining and moaning!!
I enjoy debating with people, and I don't have to be best buddies with them or agree with their world view for that. My life or dislike for a person is usually unrelated to whether they are a loser, failure, weak etc. I know quite a few losers, dropouts, weak personalities, and they can be fun company. I don't judge someone's personality based on their success, and not even necessarily on their morality; but I do judge their success on their success, and their morality on their morality. Hitler might have been a good soldier and a fun drinking buddy, he was still as asshole. Deadbeats might be reasonable fun, but they are still deadbeats. People who take no responsibility might trade, but they will not sustain careers as traders.
Don't you think your own value-free "adaptation" might contribute to the situation though? Without any moral centre at all, humanity would be in a lot of trouble. Why do you think evolution gave us a sense of morality to total strangers? I agree it's more in your self-interest - in the short-run - to just follow your own apparent narrow self interest. I'm just trying to point out that in the long-run this probably isn't the case, and for society at large it is definitely not the case. You really don't want to live in a society where everyone takes the same view on morality as you do here, IMHO.
ROTFLMAO!!!! This from the credit card cheat with the sub 1k account who claims he makes a living off it... you don't even have a regular account, you're such a loser you're spread betting with a bucket shop so you pay a "tax" on each bet equal to a significant portion of your puny "account." You also rent so you're paying your taxes there plus your landlord's. And when you go to the store do you have a special deadbeat exemption card or do you just steal what you need?
Maybe it is, maybe it isn't but I wouldn't take spanish89's word on anything... first, he's just a punk kid who recently left school and doesn't know jack shit about anything, even though he plays someone on ET who's a savvy scam artist. Second, he claims he's making a great living off of a sub 1k account that he's spread betting with a bucket shop. I rest my case.
To help put the bad behavior into perspective that some in this thread are advocating and trying to justify, here are the diagnostic criteria for Antisocial Personality Disorder from the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders which is published by the American Psychiatric Association. Think about what people have posted with these criteria in mind... Three or more of the following are required: 1. Failure to conform to social norms with respect to lawful behaviors as indicated by repeatedly performing acts that are grounds for arrest; 2. Deceitfulness, as indicated by repeatedly lying, use of aliases, or conning others for personal profit or pleasure; 3. Impulsivity or failure to plan ahead; 4. Irritability and aggressiveness, as indicated by repeated physical fights or assaults; 5. Reckless disregard for safety of self or others; 6. Consistent irresponsibility, as indicated by repeated failure to sustain consistent work behavior or honor financial obligations; 7. Lack of remorse, as indicated by being indifferent to or rationalizing having hurt, mistreated, or stolen from another.
