Don't announce it, just do it. Log out of this place until you make your million. These forums are where dreams go to die. You were up $60k and gave it back? You don't think it can happen again? Log out, go make your million. Then, when you do come back here, there won't be anyone here that can break your game. And you feel you need to announce that you made it. You'll just read, chuckle, shake your head. That's when you made it, friend.
Congrats! I am happy for you. Do realize, as you enjoy the euphoria of it all, that you are running like God at the moment. This time will fade. I don't know anything about your trading, but make sure you stay ultra aware of any changes you may start to make due to being over confident. A heater is awesome, it keeps us in it, but you will revert back to tough times. Staying vigilant during this period will maximize your overall returns. I personally think it's equally important to stay vigilant when we are doing well, as when we are struggling. It's personally the greatest lesson I have learned over the years, not to be over confident when I am running well. Congrats on the money as well, that's awesome!
Finally somebody with some good advice thank you. And you’re right. A heater is great but this doesn’t mean I need to start trading larger trades or trading more often. I only do one trade per day and I keep my trades to a small percentage of my overall account.
If you're not going to share the context of your trades, timeline, which trades made you money specifically, tickers, charts, Etc. Then this is basically just bragging... I get it as I myself have (2008) Lambo but I share trades and strategies, otherwise, what's the point? I didn't read this quote earlier... So a day trader or more accurately put a poorly executing swing trader.
You should look at growing and expanding. Don't be too conservative and cautious. Make that true yield bomb blast happen. But be wise and level-headed at the same time, don't attempt to be a Vegas cowboy whale dumb gambler who leaves empty handed, ,
I had those times when I had huge profits and let them get back to 0, happened about a month ago in one of my futures contracts. Had some substantial gains and I let it ride and rode it all the way back down. I did trade it back ever so slightly to gain about 20% of the profits I gave up ...so still a win at the end but not the substantial win that I had...
Meanwhile, YOU are the asshole that in now on his third nick here, whereas I never had to change mine? You dumnass. Why do you have to change nicks? To avoid a ban? I have never had to go through this. Please explain the process to us, the process of changing a nick so we can evade a ban. I am sure Baron would like to know.
