My guess is that wxyboy wanted to point out that news are late when they get to you, and the price already reflects the event before the news are out. But he said that so poorly that he deserves the bite in the neck. So yeah, bite him as hard as you can.
I was commenting on you comment that "Not the ideal time to be Swing Trading lol." Didn't realize it was a negative comment. I suppose I should have said it's never a good time to be swing trading if you don't know what you are doing.
No that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the chart is going to do what it does regardless of the news... The news either aligns with the trend or it doesn't. When it does you think the news caused the move, when it doesn't you question why it isn't moving on the news. So the news essentially is irrelevant thus can be ignored completely.
