It is like an x ray. It is the interpretation is what counts.

  4. My guess is that wxyboy wanted to point out that news are late when they get to you, and the price already reflects the event before the news are out.

But he said that so poorly that he deserves the bite in the neck. So yeah, bite him as hard as you can.

I was commenting on you comment that "Not the ideal time to be Swing Trading lol."
Didn't realize it was a negative comment.
I suppose I should have said it's never a good time to be swing trading if you don't know what you are doing.

No that's not what I'm saying. I'm saying that the chart is going to do what it does regardless of the news... The news either aligns with the trend or it doesn't. When it does you think the news caused the move, when it doesn't you question why it isn't moving on the news. So the news essentially is irrelevant thus can be ignored completely.

  8. Let me get this straight please. You're saying the Chart moves the News?

Yes — that’s exactly the way to look at it.

If the market truly followed the news, price action would be chaotic and unpredictable. But instead, we see repeating structures — clear cycles playing out over and over. Why?

Because the chart is not reacting to the environment — it’s projecting it.

It’s already forecasting the conditions that will bring the current cycle to an end.

    Think of it like this:

During a 3rd wave — the euphoric stage of a market cycle — everything goes vertical.
    Money pours in.
    Companies overextend.
    People get greedy.
    Scams start to surface.

    Naturally, what comes next?

A crash...but the crash was inherent in the structure, as was the impending bad news.
You could see the end coming long before the headlines hit.

So the price doesn’t follow the news — the news is baked into the cycle.
