You better believe it brother. If the Taliban go full tilt next week we have a very tough decision. Go in big, or watch thousands get slaughtered while the world watches us and says WTF. We go in big there will be no time for assessments of collateral damage. It'll be messy, messy like we haven't seen in quite some time. Joe has one hope. He can buy time, literally, and keep the Taliban from doing what they do best, head chopping. Of course ISIS is now in play, and the Tali won't put off their blood lust for long, money or no money. Me thinks we're just seeing the opening act for a killing field.
She is responding as though he said "abandoned" which is somewhat revealing. Apparently that is the accusation that they prepped for. But he didn't say that. He said "stranded." If she thinks that is not an appropriate term to use, well then, take it up with the Americans there and their families at home in the U.S or elsewhere.
i was talking about more the part that said "who want to come home..." as though they are saying fuck the ones that want to stay..not our problem... but again ALL the AMERICANS want to come home. Like she could have said All the Americans will be taken out.... she usually is pretty sharp but that comment phrasing sounded silly while Taliban are entering the city and vowing to kill Americans.
