funding the govt is a completely different question.
futurecurrents spoke of reducing the disparity as if taking money from people to give it to others is a legitimate goal. Being that is what leftists think... I remind them if they if they wish to fix "income disparity" the place to do it is on backs of the donors who run their politicians.

ah yes, I hear ya, I think about funding the government a lot, a wealth tax is something I have considered. I know you prefer tarriffs. Personally, I believe the only fair tax is an income tax. And we have already reduced income disparity about as far as we can take it. Last stats I heard, 47% pay no federal income taxes. So Bernie has 3% to play with. Do you really want to live in a country where 10% pay for 90% of the government? What kind of a voice do you think you will have then?

I can teach a kid capitalism in five minutes. You make a pitcher of lemonade for a dollar, you sell 4 glasses for 50 cents each and you double your money.

I am still waiting for someone to explain the other side so it clicks in my simple mind. So the result of me selling lemonade creates income disparity. True, I am making more money than the kids just playing video games. How is that a bad thing?
