Not for you it doesn't perhaps, but for other reps the birther argument re Obama hinged on country of birth, so now they must apply the same standard to Cruz or show themselves as hypocrites. The attacks on Obama for this issue set it all up nicely.

 

I have already applied the same standard to Cruz. The dude was born in Canada and was a Canadian citizen till 2013/2014 time frame. The guy has no business in this race.

 

Inversely, if we see democrats playing this card, then they show equal hypocrisy for not playing it with Obama. I'm sure we'll see both.
