  2. Remember when the Christian republicans in the House and Senate were calling for investigations for the Los Angeles fires during the crisis? Now they’re saying “We focus on the victims, not the blame game”. They are not human, more like jackals and hyenas!

  3. Trillions in tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires are never to expensive though.

  4. That would be the party that says a flood warning system is to expensive and fires 600
NWS and NOAA employees while giving trillions in tax cuts for millionaires and billionaires, and the people that vote for them.

As ecological overshoot, expressed through nine general "planetary boundaries", and collapse advance, anyone and everything will be blamed for calamities, except... ecological overshoot. Our future is one of "insufficient" social spending. No matter how urgently we want it, how desperately we need it, Nature is not therefore under any obligation to provide for those.

Social spending could be propped up, and maintained for longer, but those will be choked back by the demands for returns by the world's rentier class. Even so, that ultimately doesn't matter—except for justice, an important value—because this civilization, industrial civilization, has ballooned to unsustainable size and impact on the back of a one-time-only gift of 500 million years of stored sunlight.

  6. stay on topic we are talking about lack of flood warnings not what caused it

Mother Nature again identifying the hypocrites.

They did that to the left for almost every natural disaster that hit those blue states including Trump threatening to "cut federal funding" because he falsely believed it was their fault.

Yet, when a natural disaster hits the red states...it's a time for prayer and no blame games. Solutions will be discover later to prevent the disaster from happening again.

Here's a touch of reality, that river is known for flood deaths. There was warnings a few days prior but there were no "evacuation warnings". On top of that, when the evacuation warnings were given...many of those camps on the river didn't allow cell phones as their way to disengage from the internet...very problematic considering the "evacuation warnings" came in the middle of the night when everyone was asleep.

Without access to their cell phones, parents and friends could not warn their own children to evacuate and get to higher ground. :(

Now its essentially looking for the dead...recovery. :banghead:

He can sell that $400 million dollar airplane he received as a gift from a middle-east country...

Use the funds to hire back the "weather forecasters", "NWS & NOAA employees"...until his term is over. He can then brag that he's using his own money to help the American people to save lives from natural disasters.

Just as importantly, maybe he can blame this chaos on Elon Musk (DOGE) even though we all know that Musk had Trump's full approval to wreck havoc on the jobs of the American people.
