  1. If you're thinking longer-term, then it probably is.

Dozu throwing phrases like this does not remove the fact that you kept on giving a awefull advice (one of the worst posted on ET) about a months ago to go all in with 2nd mortgage because you know it all.

Look at the mirror if you need to see someone with memory loss problem.

Are you paying off your guarantees????

Yeah if for 2-3 year horizon, not a trading recommendation but I'd stick with tickers like AMZN AAPL MSFT DIS CPB JNJ and healthcare bio pharmaceuticals consumer staples utilities etc

If you think about it, had you taken his advice, it would take 30-45 days before you got your money from your 2nd mortgage/refinance. Right now you'd be sitting on a pile of cash at these low levels ready to snatch up these bargains.

While it was bad advice, it would've turned out great for anyone who listened to him.

  6. Ken - I happen to agree with you, but what are your thoughts on this latest rally? I've managed to protect most of my accounts during this downturn, but curious to hear your thoughts on the next week or so. When are you going short? I've started nibbling the last couple days, but I'm wondering if fear from Coronavirus may be being blunted since it has been all the talk for the last few weeks.

I'm still in tears of laughter from reading the title.

People who never traded nor have any clue about the markets complexities and structures call a bottom one month after the obvious economic cycle turned towards recession.

Sounds legit boys, sounds legit. Don't forget to post your bank details here so we can donate a couple of $ so you can afford meth and weed when you've lost your job.

Good lord, mankind can be so freaking stupid sometimes

so dead silence as it has been since 2016... so what the heck, why don't we just ignore the question, sweep it under a rug.

see guys you can't carry on a real debate like this.. you answer the fcking question, and if you have legit points I will give you credit then counter argue.

that's how intelligent people talk to each other.

this is why I cant stop calling people idiots. because they just don't have the attention span to keep thought process going.

  10. Dozu - A simple question of opportunity cost. Would you rather hold a company with a 50 P/E that pays out a 100% dividend (i.e. a 2% ROI) where you have to risk if they are going to go bankrupt when they can't make their debt payments? Or would you rather just hold your cash, forgo the 2% and wait until you can better deploy your capital?

Personally, I'd rather just hold the cash.
