Many people aren't even aware how difficult a war with Iran would be never mind Canada one of the largest countries in the world ( larger then the US ). Given our renewed mandate to meet our NATO obligations our defense will naturally improve now; however, the sheer size and rugged areas of Canada are a natural defense as well. And let's be real here, the US debt to GDP is around 133% ( double that of Canada ); the US can't afford all these pet projects of a petty tyrant. Putin said he'd defeat Ukraine in 2 days a long time ago. Afghanistan essentially defeated Russia and the US given enough time.
