WTO promotes reduction of 'tarriffs'' Trump tarriffs is violation of WTO, more like US just got booted out of the WTO, if US companies want to complain about IP theft they have no legal recourse or powers and UN don't care about ip theft etc or unfair competition like gov't subsidies,,,
The judges in the WTO are symbolic.,,,they don't need a judge, it's contracdt or agreement regarding trade issues like tarriffs and how each country deals with foreign companies okay. bidding on work in their country etc. the latest WTO gave multi national companies doing business globally certain 'rights' they didn't have before. A corporation isn't a person and have no rights.
Again, there's clearly a translation issue with the word "censorship" to your native language or you're just not too bright, so to be charitable I'll go with the former. You alleged that the government was "censorship" with no evidence, now you claim news editors are practicing "censorship" by deciding what to publish. Ignoring for a moment the fact that this particular news item was widely published and therefore prima facia was NOT censored, you seem to be now advocating for the government to force news editors to publish what you think deserves to be news? That's a dystopian reality that only an authoritarian dictator would wish for. News organizations here in the U.S. are private companies and can choose to publish what they wish, First Amendment and all. If they are self-censoring then that's simply a great opportunity for you to start a news organization that doesn't, which you're free to do. Or alternately you can continue to hide in your mom's basement and bang out conspiracy theories.
" Even other countries have complained about the WTO’s system for settling trade disputes. Critics say that cases take too long to resolve, that the panel often overreaches in its rulings and that the Geneva-based agency is ill-equipped to deal with the challenge posed by the Chinese economy’s unconventional blend of capitalism and state control. "
It's only gossips I think. The world is going to be globalized and WTO is one of the main pillars of that glopalization. WTO should be rebuilded, I think, to reflect that changes and the US is really aimed on this, not to withdraw out from that organization.
