At the time, the national debt grew the most dollar-wise during President Reagans and Bushes two terms as well. Most of Obamas debt is from paying for Bushs wars, tax cuts, medicare drug expansion ,the economy he inherited etc while most of Bush's and Reagan's debt is from their policies. On a % basis Reagan and Bush added more debt more than Obama.Bush 1 came close in only 1 term.

This has got to be one of the dumbest things you have posted. The deficit was around 1.2 trillion when Obama came into office and around 600 billion when he left.

"Bush increased the debt 101 percent from where it started on September 30, 2001, at $5.8 trillion."

"Ronald Reagan: Added $1.86 trillion, a 186 percent increase from the $998 billion debt at the end of Carter's last budget, FY 1981."

    54 % in only 4 years
George H.W. Bush: Added $1.554 trillion, a 54 percent increase ( In only one term) from the $2.8 trillion debt at the end of Reagan's last budget, FY 1989.

I don't know where you learned math... but here is the objective truth not subject to any of your leftist lies or dividing by gdp baloney...

but... here is the truth... obama added about 9 trillion to our debt almost doubling it.
before he got in we owed about 10 trillion when he got out we owed 19 trillion.
that is a 9 trillion dollar deficit. he spent his ass off as I said.

On January 20, 2009, when he was sworn in, the debt was $10.626 trillion. On January 20, 2017, it was $19.947 trillion.

No one... and I mean no one.... comes close to Obama in pure dollar figures of increasing the national debt.
