Is the Republican debate tonight simply going to be part 2 of the Comedy Central Roast of Donald Trump?

 

You don't believe the president's discretionary spending can create jobs??

 

I know where my S&P fund was when Barack Obama took office and where it is now. As far as I can tell he did everything imaginable to insure I lose money, yet....he failed

 

No way in hell. He's a Republican.

 

That's very nice, and I'm happy for you, but it doesn't answer my question.

 

I think the president can be a figure head and like Reagan did let people know it is not bad to be rich. But no, I don't think there is any policy a president can implement which will make a difference. If we knew how to do that we would have done it long a go.

 

In name only, though I don't know if that description applies anymore. I have no idea what a Republican is anymore. I know what the left's leadership stands for, but not so much the right's leadership.
