Ok....but that doesn't take away from the fact that the MAYO CLINIC recommends eating both OLIVE and CANOLA OILS YOU say these oils are baaaaad and they say not so....hmmmm....who is more credible? LOL
I cook with coconut oil sometime. And eat the white meat of the coconut sometime. I do not eat 5 coconut every day or cook with the oil every day. I am not fat at all. Some fat in the diet is very healthy! Good for energy, healthy hair and skin. Too much, and you get too fat.
so now you're in denial that spinach and london broil both have 15% of their total calories from fat? why don't you go to the usda database and look these up for yourself. or maybe you're afraid of the truth?
The recommendation wasn't to add oil per se but to replace the more harmful oils that may be used with less harmful oils. Best is no oil at all. Eat the source not processed product
Wrong, the recommendation was what kind of DIET TO EAT: "In sum, I recommend a plant-based, high-fiber diet that is rich in fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy proteins (nuts, beans, low-fat dairy products); and foods, such as fish, olive oil and canola oil, that have ample "healthy fats." No where does it say "replace with less harmful oils" Moron
