Not only were they peddling global cooling, guess what their solution was to solve the problem.

    Melt the arctic ice cap!!!

The July pause in cooling as La Nina approaches also happened during the 1997-98 El Nino. I’ve examined a daily time series of satellite data for 2016, and this behavior is due to intra-monthly variations in temperature, probably mostly driven by episodic deep convective activity in the tropics. Depending upon how the calendar months line up with the resulting peaks and troughs in temperature, the result is a rather irregular monthly temperature time series. It can be viewed not so much as a variation in radiative cooling to outer space, but a variation in convective heating of the troposphere.

To see how we are now progressing toward a record warm year in the satellite data, the following chart shows the average rate of cooling for the rest of 2016 that would be required to tie 1998 as warmest year in the 38-year satellite record:

Overestimated global warming over the past 20 years

Recent observed global warming is significantly less than that simulated by climate models. This difference might be explained by some combination of errors in external forcing, model response and internal climate variability.

The following are just facts. FutureCurrents refuses to address a single point. No can he:

    - CO2 levels were 10-20 times HIGHER historically, and the earths climate was both MUCH WARMER AND MUCH COLDER during those periods.

    - CO2 levels were 10-20 times higher in the past, and the biosphere THRIVED

    - CO2 levels were 10-20 times higher in the past, long before humans drove SUV's around. Or before any humans were around!!! There's a natural climatic variation in CO2 levels totally unrelated to the burning of fossil fuels!!!!

    - Solar activity (sun spot activity) and earth temperature are a near exact correlation!!! As the sun becomes more active evidenced by increased sun spot activity, the earth soon heats up!!! That's why it gets cold at night (no sun) and warm during the day (sun)! As solar activity slows down, the earth cools!!!

    - The UN panel on climate change concluded the Sun doesn't influence the earths climate!!

    - Ice caps on the various planets and moons in our solar system have all melted in conjunction with earth temps going higher. Similarly, as earth temps cool, ice caps on the planets and moons in the solar system have also grown. Guess what? It's that big bright yellow thing in the sky that makes us warm.

    - Humans are responsible for 3.5% of all CO2 emissions. The other 96% of CO2 emissions derive from decaying organic matter and geological processes (volcanos). That somehow if humans reduce their carbon output by 30% of 3.5% = roughly 1% of total CO2 emissions, this will firmly place the planet back on "life cycle", even though the earth has thrived under CO2 levels 20 TIMES HIGHER then present day. Think about it. We're going to reduce CO2 levels by 1% and this is the "game changer"..... Mind you, that'll cost the global economy about 15 Trillion a year in additional carbon taxes paid to Extremist Leftists like George Soros and Bill Gates intent on ruining Western civilization with forced sterilization and mass muslim migrations. Yes, we can trust Gore and Blood with 15 Trillion dollars to do whatever the fuck they want to do with it.

  7. Jem, they don't use that data set, for a reason. I keep telling you this but you keep ignoring it. Satellite data is not as accurate as the thousands of land based thermometers.

Would you like to see the real data?

  8. The following page lists the nearly 200 worldwide scientific organizations that hold the position that climate change has been caused by human action.

You haven't refuted a single fact I listed. Nor have the fraudster "scientists" you routinely cite as proof of man-made global warming. Reminder: the scientists you cite as 'proof' have repeatedly lied, hid and changed climate data to hide the decline in global temperatures. A fraudster referencing fraudsters. Very good.

  10. So let me get this straight. You think that every expert in the area on earth is wrong or lying. Is that right? Sounds crazy.
