  1. And you're blaming Tapper for that? What would you have expected him to do after he repeatedly told the candidates that their time was up. Maybe Cheney should have been there to shoot people in the face if they didn't shut up?

  3. Carly owned it. Her response regarding planned parenthood was a devastating blow to leftists.

"I dare Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, to watch these tapes. Watch a fully formed fetus on the table, its heart beating, its legs kicking, while someone says, 'We have to keep it alive to harvest its brain.' This is about the character of our nation. If we will not stand up and force President Obama to veto this bill, shame on us!" Fiorina said, drawing raucous applause.

Her response to the Trump insult was short, to the point and cut deep. Right at the moment I'd take her and/or Christie over any of the rest. We'll see how it plays out, but those two impress me the most with actual plans and leadership skills.

The tapes are so heavily cut and paste and edited and slanted they are essentially fiction.

  6. Tapper wanted a food fight and let it play out that way. It was very poorly moderated. The candidates themselves had to try and moderate the debate, which they were able to pull off on occasion. Had it not been for the self restraint by some, excluding the idiot Trump, the whole thing would have melted down into some reality show format.

  7. I disagree. He wanted an exchange rather than hearing mere talking points directed at no one in particular during a...debate. This wasn't a Fox News dance recital with Sean Hannity as Fluffer in Chief.

  9. She's a little bit more than slick. Her ability to be nimble and have substance to what she says is powerful and will prove her to be a tough opponent for anyone to take on.
Calling her out on the HP deal isn't fair without noting that she was managing that company during a stock market bubble and a tech meltdown. We also don't know all the particulars of the boardroom antics and power plays.
I see her as very impressive and will continue to give her a serious look as things develop.
