Thread for people who don't entirely understand Bitcoin

Discussion in 'Crypto Assets' started by long, Nov 16, 2023.

  1. I wish these bears could just hop into a DeLorean and travel back through time and load-up. Then I wouldn't have to hear all the whining so much year after year after year about it... FFS Bitcoin is almost a decade and a half old already. Are we going to be still crying another century from now about it?

I think the crypto exciting years have been over for a while now. Nobody believes in NFTs anymore, almost every captains of industry are in jail.

If you want excitement, learn about 0DTE options.

I think you are completely discounting the massive change that I think is coming. Of course I'm biased because I follow all of these people on Twitter, but as long as governments continue to fuck up, Bitcoin will continue to grow.

Every single year, people realize that things are getting worse, and they see how the government cannot fix it. There is also nothing the FED can really do either. Its just a game of printing. You see some countries like El Salvador and Argentina make massive changes, and this will come for the bigger countries as well. Given the debt levels, interest rates, pathetic GDP gains, there is no way out of this mess. The FED is already printing money given all these stupid programs they create in order to keep banks solvent. The fireworks are coming.

  8. That's like the idiot-bear saying no one believes in the Internet anymore because the dot-com crash.

We said well before that the NFT thing was in a bubble and ready to pop. Which it did. But NFTs are here to stay, just as much as the internet is here to stay after the tech-bubble imploded.

  9. So you’re equating NFTs with the Internet? Sure, bro.

It’s a unique form of ownership and licensing that could have a big impact on how business is done. Take the zombie ape image that’s my current desktop background, I got it from a screenshot for a steal.
