Good thinking - I shadow trade with 3 bots every day; I stratify acceptable trades based on diurnal variation; tgt 1 vd 2, pullback additions and longs vs. shorts for NQ, GD and YM; $1283 per day over last 162 days at 3 contract per trade.

Well since you cannot defeat #1 or # 2 arguments, I win and further, I hope grow up just like you in a decade, albeit better manners.

Prove it. Do you have a journal? $200k+ is a haugty claim for someone who thinks I'm an Iranian named Alex whatever.

I haven't been in these forums for a while due to focusing exclusively on my trading and business under pandemic conditions but I must say after reading this thread by chance that 8 and 9 summarize accurately everything I would also say. Some traders I know had to unlearn what someone taught them to start all over again and this was hardest part. But I cannot discount existence of some good teachers who are probably too old to tolerate the adrenaline of trading or have no sufficient funds to execute their strategies for some reason. Anyone younger than maybe 50 who claims to be a teacher should be scrutinized carefully because as 8 above says trading is competitive and it makes no sense to teach someone else a profitable method.

I will prove it if you can prove you can count to 200K. It is a big number. Ready go - perhaps include a video of you actually counting/lips moving, etc . After some 13 posts already today, sure you can count that high?

Next prove that you are over 18 yo - something with a picture in it - I cannot respond to children and so far you sound like one.

Last, proof you are a US citizen- disclosing financial information to an Iranian of question intent would be proscribed.

  6. I agree with most of this, but, I think another distinction that needs to be made is that those who actually know how to trade generally won't have a desire to run a trading room or sell educational materials.

So it's not necessarily true that trading can't be taught - it's just that those who are in the teaching business ain't worth learning from.

And even if you found a mentor who could show you the way you would have to put in the hours yourself. This is even true in other fields of education where the failure rate is also high.

I can only count to twelve, since I learned it on the teevee.

Here's a random pic of some guy, over 18 YO.

I agree - there is no given assumption that good traders will every reveal - much less teach - their successful and learnable methods.
