Southampton is pretending to be a consumer who purchased marketsurfer's book and is unmistakably recommending we go to marketsurfer's site to purchase marketsurfer's book. Impersonating a neutral 3rd party consumer as evidenced by Southampton's use of 3rd party pronouns instead of 1st party pronouns while simultaneously attempting to attain financial gain indicates a strong probability this is a scam.
