TOS slow on system

It seems Java based platforms are usually memory heavy, especially on Mac.....

 

@otctrade thanks i'll give that a shot today and see if it works
i'm suprised more people aren't experiencing issues with lag on TOS

 

well, tomorrow since there won't be much lag today without any real time data coming in

Yes it looks like clearing the dump from that video that was posted sped it up quite a bit. No lag today and i had a lot of trades going on. Thank you for that! I haven't cleared that in years! never knew about it

 

Octrotrade, seems like TOS'd put that as a Prominent Feature Button according to SJ15's results.

 

Well my TOS platform is back to lagging. Clicking the HELP --> EMPTY TRASH Button isn't doing anything anymore to speed it up much. Drop down menus take 2-3 seconds to drrrooooooop down so i can click them to close out. i'm not sure what to do to fix this anymore
