I exactly use the IB API to trade what you saw on the csv, if you need any help to move it I should be able to help.
That csv does not match trades and pnls shown in the first pdf. You need to organize yourself a little bit more before you want to share anything with us. Calling yourself a professional does not make you a professional. Try to put something together that makes sense and we will be able to participate, otherwise there's not much point for me to continue.
You are obviously not a professional, not only because of the very small pnls that you are trying to show, but the very messy reports that you call backtests. You wouldn't survive in a professional environment a week. In my experience so far on this forum, every single poor soul that call themselves a professional is an obvious fraud. On the contrary, the ones that look professional just reply to a specific topic and don't bother themselves to show off.
Keep going mate. Your opinion is extremely well supported by numerous arguments. Funny to call 15-30% monthly pnl as "very small" whereas av performance of managed futures funds lays between 5-7% in June. You didn't like the structure of my backtesting report — big deal! No point to answer me further, don't waste your time. Hope you are typing here at least from BlackRock. If not, please show them your backtest reports they'll assume you are a pro.
I am just curious. Have you ever been working in investment banking/prop-trading/brokerage/managed funds? Have you ever been granted with legal certificated proving you can work as a trader/dealer/portfolio manager in your country? Have you ever managed investors money?
I have worked in various banks and trading firms, but not as trader, as a software developer. In case it matters, Barclays Investment Bank, HSBC, RBS, Brewin Dolphin, all in London. Saudi British Bank in Ryadh. I told you already that I am not a professional trader, so that should have answered your question already.
