I had some time ago such an idea to setup such a system, but never had time to build it, ie. program it.

What kind of data are you interested in? Simulated data or replayed old real market data?
What "granularity", ie. 1:1 time or a compressed time? time tick size?
And primarily what kind of instruments? (ie. stocks, options, indices, ...)

But I think some brokers already offer such test platforms (for example IB), also other providers; just do a web research...

At the moment futures or stocks top of the book market data emulator.
I want to learn DOM in the close-to-live inviroment.
Nothing fancy.. Could be old market data... to begin with just moving numbers to simulate random trading envoroment.

    For future wish-list would be:
    1. Fully chartable with indicators etc
    2. Able to test strategies & idicators

    I have seen "CME Simulator"
    1. but unable to create user at the moment
    2. I think you have to use their build tool. Where I need to use my own tool (ATAS in particular)

Problem with Tradingview & TradeStation Paper trading.
    1. They ONLY work in the acual trading hours. (no weekends)
    2. I would acually prefer to use my own tool to practice (Tho I do use both Tradingview & Tradestation, I would like to practice in ATAS)

  5. TradingView has market replay, so does Tradovate, so does SierraChart, so do 80 billion other things.

Yes I also created my own.

Hummmm...let me guess, you want this for free and without to much work.

I've developed something that allow me to replay any trading day using tick data. But that cost me some dough and it took me hours to develop.

    Hmm..

Based on your guy's feedback in reality

It's called "Market replay" not a Simulator.....

I need Market data feed that works in "Market replay" mode

Yes, you could use a Market Replay system like Multicharts (platform only) or Tradovate (Broker + Platform).
