Thank you, but it might be easier and more convenient if you just posted your calls soon after entry. I think you may find it a bit harder to do in real time than retrospectively, especially since it is more discretionary than not. But I wish you well and I hope it works.
Then why trade what is more difficult than what is more easy? What is your fascination with the very tops and bottoms, where most trader corpses can be found? In any event, most of the setups you identified in your previous chart were neither tops nor bottoms.
If you're trading an H4 or L4, you likely misread the situation. H1 Fails, OK it's a PB H2 Fails, OK it's a 2 legged PB H3 Fails, Uh oh, 3 legged PB, likely misread things H4 Fails, SHIT, wish I faded that weak H1setup Padu, if you only traded the 1-2 SPBTs a week, you would be well off. Easiest read there is IMO What do you think are Brook's most simple setups? What would he tell a beginner to do? The answer definitely wouldn't be scalp..
I hope Padu achieves the success he wants. He deserves it. Padu knows how to trade long term that's for sure. He's just determined to master 5 minute. I don't think SML can, which is why SML relies on the kindness of other Posters here teaching him. Has anyone achieved success studying only Brooks? I'm highly skeptical.
There is a very experienced trader on this very site, who still posts occasionally, who recommended doubling your money first using the weekly charts only, then move down to daily, then hourly, and finally the daytraders timeframe. I'm not sure how serious he was, but it lit the fuze in my brain to look at them all! You don't want the weekly showing a top while you're trying to buy the dip on the hourly, unless your risk management (and skillz in general) are ninja grade.
I am definitely the type of guy that could preach Brook’s stuff. Came across him by searching “bar by bar” which is the book title. Went through it and watched some of his youtube video then never came back. What’s sure is you can achieve success not studying Brooks.
