Pulling shenanigans to get around bribery rules is a crime as well.

Especially in context that the jet will not be available for use until 2029 (after he has left office) and will cost over $1 Billion to upgrade. The Boeing jets will be available in 2027.

Of course, Trump simply wants this jet moved over to his Presidential library in 2029 so he can use it freely after his term -- which makes this jet effectively his personal asset and a bribe from a foreign government. The only good news out of this is that Trump may actually be thinking of leaving office after this term.

fake news is all you watch so you don't know the truth - brainwashed..

The claim that President Trump is accepting a $400 million jet from Qatar as a personal gift, potentially constituting a bribe, is not supported by the facts. According to statements from the Trump administration and reports from right-leaning news outlets, the aircraft in question is being offered to the U.S. Department of Defense, not to President Trump personally. The jet is intended to serve as a temporary replacement for the aging Air Force One fleet until new aircraft, delayed in production, are completed. President Trump has emphasized that the jet is a gift to the U.S. government, not to him individually, and that accepting it would save taxpayer money by avoiding the costs associated with maintaining the current 40-year-old aircraft. He has also stated that the arrangement is being reviewed to ensure full legal compliance. New York Post+1Fox News+1

While some critics have raised concerns about the optics and legality of accepting such a gift from a foreign government, the administration maintains that the process is transparent and adheres to all legal requirements. The jet's potential future use by Trump's presidential library foundation has been mentioned, but no definitive plans have been confirmed. New York Post+1New York Post+1

In summary, the narrative that President Trump is personally benefiting from a Qatari jet as a bribe is not substantiated by the available information. The aircraft is being offered to the U.S. government for official use, with legal reviews in place to ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.New York Post+2New York Post+2New York Post+2Fox News+1Fox News+1

And why would any rational President take a donation of a foreign jet that will not complete being updated until 2029, will cost over $1 Billion to renovate, and is a security risk? Especially since both Boeing jets will be available in 2027.
