You claimed that the crime in D.C. is really bad and I said to you that in 2024 and 2025 the crime rates were coming down by whatever means D.C. and DC police are taking to address it... Now is WHAT ABOUT BIDEN WAHHHH Seriously, you argue like a 5 year old. Ok so in 2017 there were 117 homicides in D.C. when trump took office. In 2020 during his last year in office there were 198. According to yout logic trump led to more murders in D.C. during his term. In 2021 there were 226 homicides and in 2024 there were 187 homicides so according to your logic Biden was able to bring down the high rate of homicides trump ushered in. Do you see how stupid your logic is?
DC did nothing to lower crime....Its likely they ran out of people who are willing to commit crimes......ebb and flow The number of people willing to commit crimes is only a few thousand. If that number changes by a few hundred it could show the 7% that crime went down Why a small number of criminals perpetrate the worst crimes in America
Let's walk through some math. There are 702,250 people living in DC. There are 3,113 arrests per 100,000 people per year according to crime figures. On a daily basis this means 60 arrests in DC per day. Let's assume overnight is a 12 hour period -- so the expected number of arrests overnight in DC would be 30. They only made 23 arrests -- thus underperforming. SAD.
Crime Rate is not measured by the number of arrests -- noting that Trump's force is so ineffective that they can't even hit the average number of arrests for an evening. We will see what the crime rate statistics show at the end of the year the final 5 months of the year in DC after Trump put this measure in place compared to how things were the first 7 months of the year
It is only their first night. They should be able to catch up with the average arrest numbers by the Mayor. Yet, I did hear they will soon be targeting Haitians who have been eating the pets of D.C. residents. They should then be able to double their arrest numbers to ensure D.C. will beat their low crime rate numbers…a 30 year low. wrbtrader
Maybe they should target Republican Congressmen and Senators having sex with underage teens. This should greatly boost the numbers.
