Anyone who buys Chinese goods would know that Walmart, Nike, Apple, etc. pay the Chinese very cheaply. The markup at times for those goods are huge, like 5 times, 7 times, etc. that Nike and other shoe manufacturers love the $500 sneakers of Lebron etc. Hell, for that price, you could be as good as Lebron. The dirty little secret it US manufacturers and importers of Chinese goods are the ones making obscene profits at the expense of US consumers. One time, I ordered pen refills thru Alibaba I believe, I had to order a minimum amount in volume but, the pen refills was dirt cheap. So, I ordered some. It took maybe, a month for me to get the order but, those pen refills will last me a lifetime. One question, how much would have the pen refills cost if you bought it thru Amazon? You are probably, paying 5 times the actual cost thru Amazon than if you bought it directly from the manufacturer. Of course, you have to order a minimum volume to get that deal.
