Cable News networks (MSNBC, CNN, FOX, etc.) are not news networks, they are entertainment networks. Fireworks flying makes for great reality show style entertainment.

FOX has the highest ratings of all the "Cable News" networks (in fact it has a greater viewing audience than all the others combined usually). Why would Murdoch change anything, he is making money and winning.

over the last few years... fox has become obviously establishment. They became less and less about the truth and more about the propaganda.

For instance tt was sickening to watch all the rinos pretending the people wanted open borders. We all knew better.
Then the poll came out which stated even latinos were in favor of enforcing immigration laws.

Fox got sick. We watched it. Now they are sickening and many of us have ceased watching it.

I watched them turn on Ron Paul for Romney.

They kicked off Beck when he was getting deep into the constitution and soros and the ties to the cronies and the Federal Reserve.

They changed. They do a lot of establishment spinning now.
They should have been hammering the Republicans for being turncoats.
But since they allowed it the Rs served Obama and the cronies and not us.

I haven't watched Fox for years.

Out of the whole lot of them, Hannity, Oreilly, Van Susteren, Kelly et al I only see one guy I perceive to be a journalist and that is Brit Hume. The rest are all hacks.

I've been getting my news from Drudge and a few other independents. The MSM is beyond dead to me and I'll never return to it.

I remember rushing home to watch MacNeil Lehrer and I'm a conservative lol. That was the last worthy news show on the planet and its been a vacuum ever since.

Apparently, according to her employer, she took a previously scheduled vacation. Unless you have proof otherwise... ?

Yes quite often when a prominent employee cracks up their employer will retroactively schedule "vacation" for them.

  8. I'm not so sure it is the media going shallow or simply the content they are covering.

  9. Fox was great for a long time. Sadly, they have now sold out. Murdoch is pushing open borders, free, ie unfair, trade and nonstop foreign military meddling in all his properties. O'Reilly and Kelly are merely bit players sent out to push the agenda.

It's ironic that it seems to have run aground on the gargantuan ego of Donald Trump, who went ballistic not over policy but over a question about some irrelevant comments he had made about various women. And Roger Ailes wouldn't be the first executive to make foolish decisions about a beautiful young female subordinate.

Ailes himself has several allegations of inappropriate behavior towards female employees out there.
