There was never a viable border deal. If repubs voted for that bill, every single one of them would have been voted out. That would have been a career ending vote for a repub. Trump didn't convince me of anything. I agree they shouldn't be wasting time hunting down otherwise law-abiding people, but it's all about the show. And while the Republicans put on their show a DNC funded army of radical left lawyers and judges do everything in their power to ensure the most violent criminals find a backdoor to escape through.Meanwhile the talking heads have something to fret about, and the political hacks have the campaign issue, all while American citizens and otherwise law-abiding illegals suffer the consequences. One day perhaps, although unlikely, people will finally recognize that, as I have stated numerous times, the U.S government is the biggest terrorist organization on the planet. Hardcore MAGA accepts Trump's word as gospel, true. But they're the exception. He won because more people agreed w/ more of his policies than they did w/ Kamala and the Dems. Given all the talk Kamal did about Venn diagrams, you'd think her party would know how to use them. Instead they take the 20% side of every 80/20 issue and obviously end up w/ very little overlap in the center; nothing except "orange man bad". What's amazing is they seem to keep making the same mistake over and over.
