I was comparing it to the school educational system not the school sports environment, although the lefties are trying to take competition out of that too. Lots of things in America used to be or still are extremely competitive and skill-based, and subject to rigorous evaluation based on merit. Your ilk are changing all of that.
OK... you have ZERO experience with HIGH SCHOOL sports.... still highly competitive and people fighting for D1 money in all sports in both private and public...even with COVID schools were fighting for championships. Seriously.. you want to turn everything into some lefty thing and then talk about something you have no idea about. There is no lack of competition in any high school sports.. I think we all can tell that you never played sports and in your high school they decided not to rank kids or display GPA because it would hurt your feelings so you grew up with no competition anywhere. Nothing but participation trophies for ya huh.... No school lacks competition in its athletics or push for class rank/GPA or to get into a top college...except the vocational schools you went to.
Really? You have schools such as Havard eliminating discriminating against asians and keeping their enrollment down due to too their superior performance. You have schools by the droves working to eliminate- or have already- exams such as the SAT. And entire generations of students on the dem plantation being moved along to a higher grade every year even though only two or three of the kids in the class have any competency at all in all key areas that can be measured. As I said before, you are making a case that things used to be different, or still are different in some areas, but your ilk are headed in a totally different direction. You may value something but you are supporting lefty ilk that are taking the country in a different direction. American students are studying up on ebonics and why mommy has a dick. You think that is what the Chinese and Korean students are studying?
Nonsense argument about Harvard discriminating. The case has lost in every court it went through and the current scotus is even delaying it, while having a 6-3 super majority. Oh, and students of Asian heritage already make up ~25% of admissions.

Or to put it differently, are "capped at 25%".[/QUOTE] If they were capped, they would have representation at Harvard closer to their national average of 6%. They are obviously not “capped.”

Peter Arcidiacono, a Duke economist testifying on behalf of the plaintiffs, concluded that Asian-American applicants as a group performed stronger on objective measures of academic achievement and extracurricular activities.[12] Despite this, they received a statistically significant penalty relative to white applicants in the personal score and overall score assigned by Harvard officials.[1

Imagine if colleges only selected students based on SATs and math league. It’s nonsense. What about kids who work through high school, or have experienced illnesses. Colleges have to judge the whole student. There are great kids, who come from all sorts of circumstances who contribute various things to schools. What is illegal is quotas.
